Cutting-edge technology gathers and reports statistical information on a wide range of addictions topics. In this case, a study of the word “nicotine” reveals interesting trends.

Is Nicotine Addictive? Irrefutable Scientific Evidence Says Yes

Given all the scientific evidence, it is clear that nicotine is highly addictive. It is also evident that a great many individuals are concerned about nicotine, tobacco, and cigarette addiction, since nicotine was the third most commonly searched phrase in this study (see Graph 1 below).

Throughout Graph 1, there are also queries for tools to help deal with a nicotine addiction. “Nicotine patches” / ”nicotine patch” are the most popular (89,495 and 66,345 respectively), followed closely by “nicotine gum” (62,037). Further down the list is another alternative, “nicotine inhaler” (14,023).
