The side effects of Vicodin and alcohol, or other painkillers like Oxycontin, methadone or Percocet can include intensified sedative effects and respiratory depression. In Graph 1, query results involving painkiller and alcohol combinations are unsettling. The phrase “side effects of Vicodin” was searched over 4,300 times, and other painkiller/alcohol combinations also received a significant amount of queries: “side effects of Valium” (1,897), “side effects of Oxycontin” (1,888), etc.
