2 - 3 month treatment program

Typically patients from residential long term alcohol and drug rehab programs lasting 2 to 3 months or longer experience much higher success rates than those who have shorter treatment programs or have been involved in an outpatient program. Residential treatment programs remove negative influences and help the resident adjust to living a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle and develop the necessary skills to sustain their recovery. The longer negative influences are removed from their environment, including the availability of drugs and alcohol, and the more time they have to learn and adjust the higher the probability of success.

That takes time, and more than anything requires the expertise of highly trained certified addiction counselors to assess each patient and develop and deliver an individualized one on one counseling and holistic treatment program that addresses the issues unique to that individual.
