Program Educational Development Team
Irene
Program Development And Research
Irene is experienced at senior levels of management in service delivery and provincial government in British Columbia. She is skilled in policy analysis and development. Irene is accomplished in working with various levels of government, administration, boards, professional groups, public and community to resolve issues, develop and implement strategies. She possesses a very strong knowledge of mental health and addictions programming and research through direct experience in provincial health care systems.
Irene has taken her 30+ years of experience and summed them up in the Clear Haven Center program. Over the years, she found that addictions research was available to health professionals, but not readily accessible by the people who needed it most. She has based the program on the most current, widely proven research.
From this foundation of knowledge she has also written two books, "Make Your Last Relapse The Last" and "Help Them Succeed At Rehab." The book "Make Your Last Relapse The Last" is the essence of the Clear Haven Center 12 week program and is used as the main textbook at the Center. "Help Them Succeed At Rehab" was written to help the family and loved ones of people suffering with addiction. It empowers these people to make a real difference in their loved ones life, and to be the best support while their loved one is in rehab.
Irene's compassion for those suffering with addiction has driven her to update the program as new research becomes available.

Working closely with the head educational program developer, she brings the ideas and research to life on paper. Crystal carefully designs and edits the educational powerpoints that clients view everyday and all the student forms that accompany the presentations. All the educational materials are designed with the client in mind and with one goal at heart: relapse prevention.
